The Orphan Country
Book one
The Orphan Country book one, is the first part in a trilogy that tells a tale encompassing all the aspects that interest me.
It tells the tale of groups of Britons, striving against seemingly impossible odds as they attempt to carve out a united country in the aftermath of the Roman withdrawal while battling enemies, within and without.
It is a veritable melting pot, combining my love of landscape, ancient myths, legend, betrayal, the fight for freedom and the inevitable smattering of romance (but not too much!).
