The Orphan Country

Set in the turbulent years after Rome's withdrawal from fifth-century Britain, this trilogy reimagines the legend of King Arthur as native Britons face invading Saxons, Jutes, and Scotti, while a quest unfolds for a mystical object said to unite the tribes. The second volume follows the warrior Llanfel beyond the siege of Badon, where a subtler darkness stirs behind the invading warbands.
